General Press Information

Compression, Transfer Presses We have developed what we feel to be the best designed compression press on the market today. A simple window frame design manufactured with A36 certified steel, with forged pots and rams, this press is 3000 psi warranted. Our standard new press comes with hard chromed ram, and Chesterton 10,000 series PU packers. The bronze throat rings are cast at our own "on the premises" foundry. We currently offer presses up to 80" x 80", 2500 Ton capacity, with every standard size available down through 18" x 18", 75 Ton capacity. A transfer cylinder option can be easily added to any of these presses.

We also offer a full range of used, or remanufactured presses. Our remanufacturing process includes: disassemble and sandblast all components undercut, prepare, metallize, and finish grind the rams cut new packing area to next standard size if applicable, or undercut, metallize, and finish machine packing area to standard size packer remove existing brass in throat and gland ring, install new brass, pin and finish machine rework gland ring register skim cut, true the shoulders, and chase the threads on press rods if press is slabside construction, re-cut keyways if required, skim cut guide ways install new Chesterton 10,000 series PU packer, with new gland ring studs re-assemble press re-work guides to OEM clearances finish paint and test run This method assures that each remanufactured press will give many years of quality service when properly maintained.
